Homeschool Horsemanship

What Makes This Horsemanship Camp Unique

Although riding is included, this is not a riding camp — this is a true horsemanship experience rooted in compassion, connection, and hands-on learning. Children will discover what it truly means to care for a horse, understand their behavior, and become part of barn life….Just as if it was their own!

Each participant will have the opportunity to work closely with our horses, experiencing daily routines and exercises that build:

Responsibility

Confidence

Empathy

Leadership

Mindfulness

Real-life skills

Highlighting Individual Growth

They will learn about horse care, including grooming, barn management, cleanliness, horse health and nutrition, feeding, and more. They can read to them, sit with them, muck their stalls, and feed them. Each day will have a riding component. (Those who are not interested in riding can opt out.)

Participants will grow in their confidence and horsemanship skills. An experienced facilitator/instructor will be working with each child seperately and as a group.

This program runs in all types of weather
